A Tour of my College Portfolio

I have applied to do an Art and Design course at college, and as part of the interview process, I'll need to present a portfolio of some of my work. The pieces I have chosen to put in the sketchbook for this are ones that I am especially proud of, and I thought if I was willing to show them off at interview then I might as well show them off here!

A Trip to Liverpool

To gather information and inspiration for the exam part of my Art GCSE, we went on a trip with our Art classes to visit the Williamson and Tate galleries. This offered us a broad idea of the work we could produce, as the Tate displays modern art and the Williamson is much more traditional. However, both were very interesting and we all had a good day! Here is a collection of photos I took while on the trip. I have not included many pictures of the work in either galleries just in case!

My Art GCSE Exam Sketchbook Begins!

Today I was finally given the brief for the final sketchbook I will produce as part of my Art GCSE. There are seven main titles for us to choose from, however I went for 'The Human Condition' because I love getting out my thoughts on things that people think and feel out onto paper. I'll be looking at the option 'People and Places' as part of this title.
